OAPB Fishing Foundation was thrilled to present checks to two local charitable organizations at our Annual OAPBFF Golf Tournament on October 18, 2025.
We hosted several events throughout the year to raise funds for local organizations that do a lot for our community.
We hosted the following events this year:
- Nautical Flea Market
- Bowl-a-thon
- Fish Dip Competition
- Casino Night
- Pig Roast
- Crawfish Boil
- Golf Tournament
We donated $2000 to Pompano Beach Fire Benevolent and $1000 to the Marine Corp League of Pompano Beach.
We chose these two organizations because they are based locally in Pompano Beach and are focused on giving back to our community.
The Pompano Beach Firefighters Benevolent is 501(c)3 a non-profit that gives back to the community of Pompano Beach. Their mission is to create a partnership between the community and their membership that will provide assistance to those in need by means of financial aid and volunteer services.
The Marine Corps League (MCL) is a non-profit veteran service organization that promotes the traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps by fostering camaraderie among members, supporting Marines and their families, and promoting patriotism and community involvement through programs like Toys for Tots. The organization provides support to its members, such as assistance with veteran services, career counseling, and mentorship, while also engaging in community service activities like providing funeral honors for fallen Marines and running youth programs.
