Kids day fishing is approaching on Saturday July 13th, 2024! We will be taking out a group of children to experience a day out on the water fishing. The main goal of this program will be to teach children the importance of marine conservation, marine environment, importance of protecting our oceans, and how to be a responsible angler.
Many disadvantaged children throughout Broward County will have the opportunity to join our team for hands on instruction with professional captains and anglers. This type of engagement will be beneficial in teaching our youth about our marine environment, and how marine conservation is beneficial for everyone.
This program is free of charge and is possible from the generous donors of our community, sponsors and all our volunteers.
All participants will receive hot cooked lunch, ice cold beverages, t-shirts, fishing rod/reel, and awesome memories out on the water fishing.
You can help sponsor this program with a tax-deductible donation of $40 that will help to cover the cost for a child to head out on the water for a great day fishing. More generous donations will help cover charter fees, shirts, and new rods/reels (to take home).
