    We are all meeting at Pavilion #3 11am. The Wyld Heart Foundation is bringing our community together to clean up our beaches. Its these events that truly make an impact on our community, waterways, and fisheries in general. They will have raffles, BBQ, Vendors and prizes. Who doesn’t like prizes?? OAPB Fishing Foundation will have some beverages for eveyone too, just look for the big white Yeti with the OAPB Logo. Gather the family together, and prepare for a fun day cleaning up our local Pompano Beaches!!!

    The OAPB Fishing Club King Mackerel Tournament is going down on March 2nd. South Florida is known for the large Kings up and down the coast. Offshore Anglers of Pompano beach (OAPB) hosts multiple tournaments over the year to bring our members together. We will have an awesome raffle of fishing products from our OAPB Sponsors to raise funds for our Kids Day Fishing aboard Fish City Pride.   Visit our page at Kids Day Fishing See everyone at the scales at Sands Harbor Resort and Marina 4pm, March 2nd.

    Benny’s Fishing Charters Captain Benny Scoca will be in for our January meeting to discuss Wahoo Fishing out of Hillsboro Inlet. Capt. Benny will be providing tips and tricks to help our members put that Wahoo in the boat. Topics to be covered are tackle, bait, trolling, live bait, sea conditions, moon phases, and depths to fish. We look forward to a great seminar from Capt. Benny and crew. See you all at Sands Harbor Resort and Marina 7pm, January 15th

    The OAPB Golf Tournament is approaching!!! We look forward to holding the event at the Pompano Beach Golf Course, and Galuppis for our catering.  Exclusively to the community. Come join us for our annual Golf Tournament at Pompano Beach Golf Course. This will be a 18 hole 4 man/woman scramble with lots of prizes, raffles, and fun. The Golf Tournament proceeds will directly help our OAPB Fishing Foundation Endowment and to our Kids Day Fishing aboard Fish City Pride on July 13th, 2024, a.       We are excited to announce that we held our first OAPB Canal Clean-up on behalf of OAPB Fishing Foundation on Saturday, July 15! Here is the impact we had by the numbers: 13 boats  51 people  24 bags of trash collected We not only cleaned the canals in Pompano Beach, we were able to extend the clean-up from Lauderdale by the Sea up to Lighthouse Point! A big thank you goes out to our sponsors who provided our supplies and raffle prizes: City of Pompano Beach (a special thank you to Commissioner Alison Fournier who joined us!) Loucks Engineering Sea Tow of Fort Lauderdale Gallagher (Insurance/Risk Management/Consulting) Thank you to everyone who volunteered, especially the boat captains who volunteered their boats.  It was a group effort and we had a GREAT group of people!
