The OAPB Fishing Foundation is proud to promote two great veterans organizations that provide the opportunities for our veterans to get out on the water for a day of fishing.
The Freedom Fighter Outdoors (FFO) founded by Vinny LaSorsa brings out veterans multiple times a year for a day of fishing and/or hunting. Based out of Lighthouse Point, Florida the FFO Organization provides an excellent platform for veterans to come down to Florida for a week of rest, relaxation, and some incredible fishing.
The Naked Warrior Project's mission is to honor the fallen, support their families and provide a sense of community with those that have faced similar challenges. This organization provides multiple events to raise funds for their cause: beach run, dinner, a fishing tournament, and golf tournaments
Our Kids Day Fishing provides a fun day for disadvantaged children to spend a day out fishing on board the Sea Legs Deep Sea Fishing Charters. The children are provided hot lunches, beverages, desserts, and fishing memories. Our OAPB Fishing club captains/anglers come on board and provide the children with hands on fishing instruction, education on our fishery, and the importance of being a responsible angler.
Our Disaster Relief fundraising program brings together our community and beyond to help victims of natural disasters. Together with the OAPB Fishing club, the OAPB Fishing Foundation organizes events to raise funds to bring supplies, mobilize cleanups, and provide support to help bring relief to our community and surrounding areas.
